The uninstall program is put in place when you do an install. If you merely copied an app from another location (old drive) the OS would not know about it.

I know but you can add it with a registry entry, i just wanna know what it is.

If you copied it over then you didnt register it (through the OS registry, dlls etc..), therefore no need to add/remove it. Simply delete the directory when you want to remove it.

Even if you added the entry to the registry, you wouldn't be able to uninstall the application without the supporing uninstall code.

The above posts are correct..and I agree with them.....
In other words what purpose could there be in installing an uninstallable name in the Add/Remove....?
_IF_ you have the uninstall string.....and each program's string is unique basically......that's a different matter, possibly....
The uninstall string might be found in the .inf file...then TweakUI's Add/Remove tab could be used to add the Uninstall string Command and associated app name which should then appear in ControlPanel's add/remove........which I 'think' would -only work- if all the associated .dll's and exe are properly registered thru a "run" string for each one(too much fuss, if even possible).....
