    Lol! Thanks guys.

Kwonger: Embrace your Asian heritage! My dad just came back from Malaysia and they actually make premade plastic covers just for remotes over there...haha. Of course he bought some.

shadow_chazzer_killer: It's an 8inch sub with a 100watt mosfet amp. I find it's very tight and even put some 10inchers I auditioned to shame in terms of accuracy/extension. Eg. Jbl EP150

Stonez: Yup, I have the duct installed. In fact I noticed that my vidcard temps are 2degrees Celsius lower with it installed. 44 vs 46. Is your Zalman fan blowing air in or sucking air out?

Damn. How much did that monitor set you back?
How do you like that keyboard and the P180 case?
I'm seriously debating between the Antec P180 and the Aerocool Extremengine 3T...can't decide!

    stock heatsink with thermal pad.
Changed the fan for a 47cfm one.
In a antec 1050b case scoop directly on the fan.

Vantec ThermoFlow 80mm Temperature Controlled (modded)
    28 cfm start - 41.0 cfm
    37.db`s <------cases eats this up

Wow, just wow, I am in a state of awe right now. That is one awesome setup Soup! How are the speakers sounding? How would you compare those satts to the ProMedia satts?

Estex & Cyber: Oh, it's a Dell 2405FPW 24" Widescreen LCD monitor and I bought it on sale for $900CAN. (reg. $1400CAN) Three of my co-workers also bought them when they were on sale.

Keyboard- Very comfortable and quiet. The padded wrist rest is really nice and I love that it's a black natural wired keyboard. The keys are half height have a soft touch to them. (halfway between laptop and ordinary keyboard)

Case- Alot of room, very stylish, easy accessible, and helps quiet down the insides. Highly recommend it if you don't plan to bring it to LANS alot. (flexible panels, quite heavy)

Desk- It's from Ikea and the brand is JERKER.

    The two swivel shelves.

Mrsinister: You've very welcome! Oh, yeah the wires a little unruly. You should have seen it before I tidied it up a bit. I need some cable wraps and mounting brackets to hide the cables behind the desk.

Audio18: Hehe...thanks! The speakers with Panasonic XR55 is a great match. I use the 5.1 analog inputs for games, and the digital input for movies/music. This receiver is dead silent and has hardly any hiss. (since it's one of those new full digital ones; like the Sonic T-amp) For a 15x12 room, it gets plenty loud and you can hear all the details since the speakers are so close to my ears. I'd say these sats have more midrange and are more laid back compared to the Klipsch's. I think the 8inch sub blends nicely and doesn't overpower them. I tested the Panasonic receiver against the Harmon Kardon HK135 and Pioneer VSX-815. It bested all of them in imaging, midrange, low volume resolution, and lack of harshness. Some people say this receiver is bright but I find it neutral and I favor a warm sound. Highly recommended!

sweet, soup - nice job and congrats...

btw - on the first page photos, i kept thinking , what is that pic on the wall; mick jagger doing the chicken with a chick background singer in the background? - ah, and then i see anna and ...who is that yasmin?

and plz stop answering ppl's questions, who are too lazy to read the thread - *almost* every question asked has been answered in your first post (or a 1st page followup) - either point the bozos there, or tell 'em to F off...or keep on re-writing ...whatever suits your fancy.

I have a thing about mounting HDDs sideways (on end) but it's more of a peeve than anything substantially quantifiable as to why...and I'm sure that's the way the cage is made, so...it's a real nice case (design) nonetheless - and roomy (which I can see you absolutely need).

hope it lasts ya a good long time soup - you did well
