    The full spread

Operating table, looks a bit cramped

    After more work, hdd's in

    It's alive!

    The wiring

    Full frontal with cathodes

    From an angle

    Without the cathodes

    From above

I apologize for the blurriness, but there they are. I skipped a bunch of work phase pics cuz it was taking longer than I wanted having to redo some sleeving on fan tails from the old system and such.

Benchies to come in next post later today or tomorrow I hope.

I was really surprised when I had ATI Tool auto-oc the mem. All of a sudden it was jumping by 4-5 all the way to 819. I was freaking out, as I read others maxed around 790. I haven't even maxed this mem, I just kinda stopped here.

As for reaching higher cpu oc's, it needs more than 1.5125v or maybe watercooling for better temps. So I could push more for suicide benchies, but I'd like to keep this windows install, as it's only a week before I move to college. Got some games to play.

Thanks for all the kind words.

Very nice rig Speedy! If I were to upgrade, those are the specs I would get as well. That rig would kick mine any day of the week.

Might I suggest a 24" LCD Dell 2407FPW? (to relieve your LCD bottleneck and make your cpu/vidcard roar) Just don't tell your fiancee I said that.

Hmmm. You should be doing better than that. Even with my heating problem I did 12 hours Orthos @ 3.4Ghz 1.4875. That looks around 370Mhz. Did you turn off Hyperpath and try chipset SPD Enable? I've not had to do the second one but it does get picky if the memory is not 1:1 which it is if its on auto.

I know, a bit disappointed. Hyperpath is off, but I'm manually running 4-4-4-12 right now. Spd liked higher timings like 5-5-6-15 or something absurd.

I will try and re-enable spd now that I'm up at a higher fsb. My mem is 1:1 though. Thanks for the idea.

Yes SPD timings are crap. Mine try to do like 5-6-6 at settings where it handles 3-3-3-8 just fine. At least crap SPD readings allow it to post unlike people having DS3 issues with more expensive RAM
