the only thing that gets me worried is that the maps created will be nothing more than just stuff thrown around with little thought...I mean some of that stuff is impressive but to actually play a level on the eiffel tower sounds...not so fun...if you've ever played far cry instincts for the xbox (not 360) it was only about a week or two till servers were just overrun by some really crappy maps...I mean I appreciate user made maps that put some effort into them even if they aren't the greatest...but some of those were just random objects scattered around...stuff floating in mid air...that kind of stuff...
I know there's a rating system and everything to help combat that...but I think of all the stupid 5 star stuff on youtube...then translate that to far cry 2...and for all I know a giant terrain shaped penis may end up getting 5 stars
still the level editor should be pretty cool...there's a time lapse video of a dude making a map in an hour for the pc...it was pretty sweet too see how quickly things can be done
