Windows XP pro sp2.. what happen if your temporary folder runs out of space?

the default location for your windows temp folder is
    c:\mydocument and settings\USERNAME\ etc. ..

If I switch that to say t:\temp
what would happen if t:\temp runs out of space?

I have a SSD as my OS/Boot drive and I want to keep writing on it to a minimum to reduce the stuttering/pause issuse.

t: will be a 300 to 500 meg ram disk.

You'll either get an out of drive space error or it'll over write the oldest files...

Testing it yourself would be a good and very easy idea
