    Wireless LAN - network key

I've just rebuilt my laptop (ibm thinkpad X60s).
Am finding i cannot connect to my wireless router.
No changes have been made to the router.
My wireless network uses WPA2-PSK and AES
I've got a network key defined on the router.
However i find that the Network Key field is greyed out in my wireless settings.
    See pic.

I'm pretty sure this is the problem.
Everything is greyed out in the authentification tab.
Why can't i type in my network key?

    Perhaps this would apply?

Doesn't hurt to ask, but are you updated to SP3? At the very least, pre-SP2 have a harder time connecting to WPA2 connections.

    Hope this helps!

Log to the Router via cable, disable the Encryption and see if you can connect via Wireless.

    If you can not, http://www.ezlan.net/wireless.html

If you can try the encryption again.

The reason part of the configuration is grayed out is because you have defined elsewhere that a key will be provided automatically.
