Yes! 1.6 is now out... but it requires a manual update for your game client at this time. Horses!!

FYI:
I just updated the client and I can't get into the server. I guess if you use the new client you can't access servers under 1.6.1, so if you still want to play on the server wait until it updates before updating your client.

Update: The new client lets you downgrade to old versions. So now you can test out the new versions and snapshots in single player and then downgrade to play multiplayer. Convenient.

That looks like a whole lot of work. Every time I sit down to play Minecraft something comes up, so can't even fathom how much work people put into that game. I get pretty bored with it at times, but I have a cousin who is a beast at it and really gets to building a whole lot of stuff.

Don't know if anyone is really playing on the server anymore. But I wanted to say that when 1.7 comes out with the new Biome updates, I would like to start a new map.

My current plan is to shutdown the old server, zip up the map, and make it available for anyone who will want to download and play it.

I will then spin up a new virgin map to start fresh on 1.7.

Hmm..I quit playing since I was waiting for more transportation options. I hear there are horses now. Is there any air mount?

As for the new world, I say go for it.
