Not cool! De4, Gus, and myself all waited for the co-op party as well.

Odd...I figured someone would have sent a message here first to get a group going.
If we hit that bull's eye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

That was the plan that I knew of. Then again, I haven't been on the server much recently.
Question: So if we "reset" this, it 100% wipes the entire nether + end? People (myself included) have put a decent chunk of time into it. Is everyone OK with destroying it completely?

The DIM-1 folder is for the nether, DIM1 folder is for the end. Just delete the DIM1 folder and the End will reset with the nether maintained. This is my understanding of it but I would double check before doing it

If it resets the nether, I need to get a bunch of stuff out of there first.

Step 1. Set a date to reset the nether Next Wednesday. That give people 5 days to clear out any stuff they might have.
Step 2. Then set a plan to slay the dragon the following Saturday. Use Steam to setup a group event so people get a reminder. Set a time for people to meet and suit up and then slay dragon 30 min after.
Step 3. Profit!

Awesome.
We could always backup the server, delete the requisite file immediately before the dragon raid, then just restore the backup after the epic victory.

I'll delete DIM1 (The End) on Wednesday. In theory, that should be enough. Since the server is backed up once a day at midnight, we should be fine with that. At worse, we'll lose 24 hours of work if I screw something up. At best, we keep the Nether and just reset the End.

DIM1 folder deleted this morning (A few hours after the Wednesday deadline.)
We should be ready for this weekend. Anyone willing to give it a test/look and see if everything in the nether is OK?

I just jumped into the nether and it was the same as before.
I also jumped into the end and it hadn't changed either. For some reason deleting the folder didn't work.

Maybe the dragon is just scared of you. He's hiding every time you enter!

I am quite terrifying, however the torches placed by the perpetrator were still present in the end, meaning that it didn't actually reset.
