    Angry Sounds stupid but how to make google.com Chrome's default webpage?

    I don't want those stupid boxes of apps. I just want the regular google.com as new tab. You'd think this would be simple, but try it out!

    You can't really. There is a long support thread on chrome forums about it. You can get to home by hitting alt+Home if you prefer keyboard shortcuts though.
