Yahoo Mail - Can't see the check boxes next to my messages in inbox

I did try NoSquint as an extention to Firefox, but then I couldn't see the "Reply" button. I disabled that, so now I am back to not seeing the little white checkboxes that are to the left of each message in my inbox. Gmail is a little better and Outlook (hotmail) is better. The text of the messages in my inbox are pretty light too, not when I open the message, but I view the list of messages. It's set to black, so I am guessing that is the darkest I can get it?

Any ideas on how I can view my checkboxes better and resolve the light text in my list?

I would recommend you reset firefox to default settings and go from there.
