Can anyone direct me to some other forums that are mostly geared towards games? This place is a ghost town. I've stayed true to this site throughout the last 8 years but it seems time to move on. Thanks for the times guys it was fun!

This is pretty much the only forum I frequent as well. Liked the people here better. There just isn't any possible way to keep this place going without any content generation going on. It genuinely sucks to know that this group of members is eventually going to dissipate down to nothing. You guys are awesome.

Snakespy: If you're moving on, I'd figure destructoid, giantbomb, or ign are the most active places these days for game-focused foruming.

Personally I find forums in general on the down swing. I frequent comment sections in gaming news sites more then anything now. This is the only forum I still frequent but I hear good things about giant bomb.

Ah, the niche forum. This is the platform of a true PC gamer. Not as cluttered or random as reddit; an elegant platform for a more civilized age. For over a decade, message boards were the guardians of social media in the Old Internet. Before the dark times... before The Facebook.

Only a few large message boards remain. 4chan, IGN to some extent, etc.. Everything else has moved to reddit, Facebook or message boards owned by individual publishers (Blizzard, Riot, et al.).

I look at it this way, the gaming forums here are the best thing about sharky's left.

We have a group of intelligent, dedicated gamers who's opinions matter to me.

I may not post everyday, but I sure do log in everyday to see whats being talked about, and before I buy a game 99% of the time someone here has made a thread about it, you guys have saved me some money in the past but cost me way more lol. And I don't mind it a bit.

This is the place I hang out at online when I want real opinions, etc. Other than that I read news sites and make occasional posts on stories on those various sites. I don't have much of an online presence.

I've had an account here since i was 18 in high school and built my first PC. This is a great place for likewise opinions and not so much the elitist forum like Hardforum.com I lurk around a lot. We need more games, servers that people frequent more and play together some more. I have been playing a lot of diablo with major, and was playing some titanfall with kama and taggart.
