    Fates Forever

    This new MOBA launched on iOS (iPad only) called Fates Forever. It's a direct LoL clone, but it's freaking awesome. Same model as LoL: Free to play for a few characters, extra characters are a few dollars. 3v3 only for right now.

    Anyone else playing this?

    It's freaking SWEET. Best game I've ever seen/played on iOS. Controls take a little getting used to, but once you get it… damn, is it fun.

    Smite is the only MOBA I've been able to enjoy, but I'll give it a look. The art style is certainly nice.

    It looks and plays more like Dota 2 than LoL and that is to the game's detriment imo. I can't stand needing to last-hit something when the controls for stopping and then tapping on a target are so fiddly.

    Every time I see the term "MOBA" my mind directly translates it into "I don't have the time required to commit to this to be even remotely decent at it."

    It's like all MOBAs are Counterstrike.

    This one is surprisingly not that hard. I think because it's 3v3 instead of 5v5 and the character set is rather limited.

    Still harder than most other games doe.

    Yeah, the last hit thing is… annoying.

    The controls are kind of hard to get used to. It's not always clear how you attack or use a skill. But you do sorta get the hang of it.
