Dang, I didn't realize I needed a GPU brace/stand for my 6900 XT....till I'd opened up the case and saw that my card was kinda sagging on the back end of the card. I didn't have this problem when it was in my CoolerMaster H500M as it has its own built-in brace. Ordered a cheap solution from Aliexpress, I'm not doing it outta aesthetics, nope, I'd read that GPU sagging can actually shorten the lifespan of a card.

Pfft, I know profanity is a no but please give me, you can all agree, a general F U to some of the high prices they went to with video cards and still are. Way beyond the pale. Did move to AMD (5900x) after running the 5820K until December last year, still got that rig. Now the video card is the bottleneck but at least the 2070 Super, at 1440P, I went back to 2K from a 4K mon, as the G7 has a higher refresh rate, runs most games just fine. I am still playing catch up, older titles will be fine anyway.

I am hoping for some drops to get a 4070 Ti but yeah, I am not going to support crazy prices. I paid already higher in 2020 but got this card just before it all went belly up for about 640euros. Is the ROG Strix OC version. They still want 900-1100 euros in Germany for the 4070Ti ROG version. Almost Double from what that card equivalent was in 2018-2020. They can do one. What is AMD like these days? I am not loyal, I have had Nvidia and AMD in systems.

Get the RTX 4070 Ti only IF PT and RT are important to you, or nVidia Cuda cores are useful to you for some productivity usage. A cheaper alternative to it would be the RX 7800 XT 16GB, more VRAM than the RTX 4070 series, and a very capable rasterize gaming card, RT isn't quite as good as the RTX 4000 series cards, but being AMD 2nd gen RT capable card, can do some RT games (perhaps comparable to an RTX 3070 card in RT performance). My RX 7900 XTX is comparable to an RTX 3080/3090 in RT performance, plus AMD RX 7000 series card can take advantage of FSR3 in games that have it.

My RX 7900 XTX can run Crysis ReMastered in Can it Run Crysis mode (maxed out setting) with AMD Fluid Motion Frame enabled, getting playable framerate at 3840x1080.
