How to Safely and Efficiently Wipe Out and Reinstall All Your Drivers

How can I completely remove and reinstall all the drivers on my computer?

I have installed multiple drivers from different sources, such as Nvidia and Dell, and I suspect that they are causing conflicts and errors. I want to reset all my drivers to their default state and install them again from scratch. Is there a way to do this efficiently and safely, or a tool that can automate this process for me?

Sounds like you have a Dell Computer.... I would ONLY go to Dell's web site from drivers.

Agree with the most excellent MR Steve R Jones, get the required drivers from the manufacturer's website, be it HP/Dell/etc. Best to avoid standard drivers from nVidia/AMD. Oh yeah, perhaps update chipset driver from the OEM as well...

Have you considered using third-party driver management tools like Driver Booster or Driver Talent to automate the process of uninstalling and reinstalling drivers?
