Windows 10 security updates after October 2025

It's been a while since I visited here.
I read somewhere that come October 2025, Microsoft is going to stop giving customers critical security updates for Windows 10 users. My PC will not upgrade to Win 11.
I also read that Microsoft will allow us to buy ESU - extended security updates for $30 for one year.
Do you know if that is true?
