Thumbs up Congras Macci for breaking 26k marks!

Good job! Those are awesome overclocks on the 9800 pro! I wonder what would Digital Jesus get if he had Macci's overclocks, probably near 27k anyway if the prescotts come out this year, match it with a 9900 pro at 600/450+ and I dont see why we might have 30k before 2004

I wonder how he got his hands on that Engineering Sample cpu, and that is some extreme cooling.

    actually he has a 2.8c at 290fsb for 4.06GHz
He could try his luck with a whole bunch of 3.2's, Digital Jesus hit 4.4GHz on one of those. He could also wait for a 3.4GHz prescott and just go strait for 5GHz and ill be darned if he didnt break 30k right there

When will a sharky member break 25k? 9900 pro and prescott? No one has yet to break 23k yet and the V man got 22.6k a while ago and one other person managed 22.3k, otherwise lots of people with p4c's at 20-21k

Personally I think pretty much all of us like crapping on Tbirds 3dmark posts. I believe this is due to the fact that he most often posts assumptions based upon his knowledge of 3Dmark, which I remind you is not plentyful.

With that said, congrats to the guy who invented 3dmark and brought out people like tbird... GREAT JOB!!!!!

Oh, and congrats macci, and the guy who breaks 26.1 3d marks. lolz

i was just about to say that... i don't know why i really bother running the others since you can get a score without them

from now on i'll probably just run the game tests

My post was not intended to flame Tbird in anyway. I talk to the guy a ton and have no problem with him whatsoever. I just felt like sharing my opinion on the topic, isn't that what everyone else does?

I realize it's one hell of a score, and isn't easy to acheive. Like I stated before though, I just don't care.

    Congrats though

I think that when you check futuremark database and our very own 3DMark team, you'll find that many of us run only the first 4 tests as this is sufficient to get a score. (Besides, when your OC all the way, completing ALL the tests may prove elusive )

rating isnt everything, he probably had pc3500 that wouldnt oc as good, also speedstreem set a record, 215fsb on pc2100 ram at that. again pc rating means very little, I have pc3200 that wouldnt do past 186fsb
