    no "viewed" function for threads

I used the search function today and noticed that not only did it show the number of replies, but also the number of views. Why isnt this done besides on the threads that turn up on a search. Yeah its a tad pointless, but its kind of neat.

The count was there when vBulletin was first started. Housen turned it off. It doesn't serve any purpose and it takes CPU cycles that can be better used elsewhere.

    Viwe count

I think its kinda neat when you look at your own threads, cause then you know whether you are even getting hits, but even then its scope of usefullnes is limited to Tech Support and Classifieds Buy/Sell.

It causes some problems with spamming, because people will create odd titles, just to have high view counts, so its staying off :P
