    crucial compactflash memory

i was thinking about getting a canon powershot s30 camera, but it only comes with a 16 meg card

i know crucial system ram is good, but how is their compactflash memory? or are all brands about the same? i see that a 128 mb card is only $48 at crucial so it seems like a pretty good price to me

It almost doesn`t matter what brand you get. Avoid the cheapest options because they are the slowest. I use Transcend 25X speed (why does it remind me of CD drives?) and I`m very sattisfied. It costs
    ~120$ for 256MB and 60$ for 128MB.
Rule of thumb is: the higher the number (20x, 25x) the faster it should be.

ok, but will it matter for a digital camera? it uses usb so its not that fast anyway, and how long could it take to write a picture to a compactflash card even if its like 2x or something?
