    oh no! NO!

    alright im getting geforce 4 ti-4200 fo sho.

    But my dad says i dont need a new video card but i am running a p4 1300
    256 rd
    40 gb hard drive
    geforce 2 gts

    im thinking of asking why!

    or do you think i should just save till around xmas and have a dope machine.
    I think my comp right now can last till xmas

    The GF2 is still capable of running most anything on the market... I'd wait till later. Upgrade when what you have doesnt work anymore.

    Wait until you can get a Radeon 9700 or 9000. The 9700 should cost a little more than the Ti4200 but will be heaps better. The 9000 is a slightly better version of the 8500 but it will cost quite a bit less than the Ti4200 and might just edge it out in performance.

    hmm...i'd wait for the ati cards too...great performance/price ratio...better than the nvidias...

    Wait for a little while and you'll get a way better video card for the price. You GF2 should be suffice for now.
