    Why don't my mouse and keyboard wake up my computer from stand-by mode?

    I'm using win2k.
    Why don't my mouse and keyboard wake up my computer from stand-by mode?
    My mouse and keyboard was able to wake up my computer when I was using win98se. The mouse and keyboard are NOT hooked up by usb, they are connected to their own ports.
    Is the mouse LED suppose to stay on when you shut the comuter off?

    Yeah, my mouse led stays on. doesn't hurt it.

    Actually i think the kirby dance goes like this......
