CD/MP3 thread follow-up: prices?
Ok, so, I'm gonna get the iRiver, since evryoen hands down loves it. Question is, do you htink it'll go down in price in the next ~2 motnhs before I go back to college, or can I go ahead and go down. And by go down in price, I mean anythign in the range of $15+ change.

Its hard to say if the price will go down. The price could depend on the place that is selling it and if something new will come out. Best buy has it for $149 with free shipping and to me that sounds like a good price. I remember when I bought my fiist CD player and it had a digital radio tuner and that ran me over $200, oh and it had 3 second ESP. Now look what you can get for $149. But if you don't need it now and what to see what comes out in the next few months, you never know. I have the same problem buying things also, if I buy it now will it drop in price, or will somthing that is 10x better come out the next week. I just tell myself that this is something that I need/want now and I don't care that it may fall in price or something new will come out.
Sorry about the ramblings,

Nah, that makes sense. WIth most computer stuff, you always have to deal with watchign waht you bought drop in price almost the next day. I guess I'll see what happens to the price in the next week or so and then decide.

Remeber though $149 plus tax which comes to around $160. I bought my Iriver 2 months ago or so for $170 on ebay brand new sealed. That includes shipping and no tax.
