Hitman 2 Demo probs
For the life of me I can't get the hitman2 demo to run. After it starts to start, it flashes a black screen like its about to load, then kicks my *** back to the desktop. I've tried changing all the game settings (lower and higher resolutions, w and w/o T&L, etc). I changed my desktop to both 16 and 32bit color depths and no go either. Anyone else have this problem? I don't feel like typing out my specs, but I have XP pro and a Geforce 2 ultra (annihilator2).

Yeah my demo said it couldn't unzip and wouldn't work. So i'm in the process of D/L it again.

Turn Audio Hardware Acceleration down a notch. That fixed it for me.

I think you go into your Control panel and look for hardware. Thats all I know.

Sorry, I should have been more specific.. tired I guess .
In the Control Panel open up Sounds and Audio Devices, then go to the Audio tab and click on Advanced (under Sound Playback) and go to the Performance tab. Turn Hardware Acceleration down one notch.
I don't know what this disables exactly, so you'll probably want to turn it back on after playing. BF1942 works fine with audio acceleration turned up though (for me, at least) so that's probably an unrelated problem.
