    solving the ac-mains problem of the waterpump

    hi,

    how did you guys solve the problem with the seperate mains power lead from the pump?

    hooked it up with the powersupply and how?

    I'd just hook it to a seperate switch. That way you can keep it on after your PC's off to cool it down a bit...

    If you want it to come on / off with your system you'll need either a power supply with an accessory outlet on the back or you'll need to install a small relay (SPST-NO, 12V coil) in series with the AC supply to your pump and connect the coil to a 12V source on your power supply.
