OT: Calling all Classic Car Lovers
In searching for a really nice X-mas gift for my parents I decided it was about time to get them into DVD's. I plan on getting them a nice player as well as a movie or set of movies for each of them. My mom was a no brainer, picked her up the Alien Legacy set. My dad on the other hand is a real pain. He's not really into any movies, more like he'll just watch what ever my mom happens to buy/rent with her. He is really into classic cars, having a 1970 Chevelle as well as a 69 GTO. Anyone know of any dvd's for the car enthusiest? Funny car, drag racing, Muscle? A quick search on google turned up IMAX Super Speedway, though I really wasn't able to get any detailed info on it. Any ideas or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

Nice, too bad none of them are available in DVD (to go with the player). Maybe something I can fall back on.

Crash Test Dummy
It might be a bit of a stretch, but the movie "Bullitt" has a great car chase scene all around San Francisco. McQueen's driving a 1968 Mustang GT 390 Fastback and the bad guys are chasing him in a '68 Dodge Charger R/T.

you might want to check out historychannel.com i know they play a series called automobile. it goes through the history of various car complanies. they are also fairly good about offering things in VHS and DVD.
