    Question Will xbox live work with my modem?

    Xbox live requires a high-speed internet connection right? Well I have a cable modem, but the cheap bastards where I live don't offer 2-way cable. Instead only the download is on the cable line and the upload is on the phone line and to make things worse the phone line is 33k instead of 56k!!! ARGH!!! So does anyone know if xbox live will work with my modem or not? TIA

    Unfortunately yes. I used to have true 2-way cable, but I moved over the summer and now I can only get 1-way cable. I miss my old cable...it was ALOT faster than what I'm using now...
