Adding my Olympus digital camera to Windows XP

I have an old Olympus D-320L digital camera and I am using WinXP Pro. Instead of using Olympus's software to download pictures off of the camera I want to be able to use WinXP's Scanner and Camera wizard. However, when I try to set up the Scanner and Camera Wizard to recognize my camera it doesn't list the D-320L in the model list. The earliest Olympus digital camera it lists is the D-340L. Is there some way to get the D-320L working with WinXP's Scanner and Camera Wizard, or am I stuck using Olympus's own software?

I could have sworn that on other versions of Windows the D-320L was supported. But maybe I was daydreaming,

    Card reader

Getting a card reader definetly the way to go, only 25-30 bucks and USB much better than the serial connections your Olympus has. If you dont like that idea then check Olympus for newer XP drivers or use the software that came with the camera...but recomend the card reader.
