    Happy Birthday TCP/IP

    Not sure if anyone posted this already, but apparently yesterday (Jan. 1) was the 20th anniversary of TCP/IP first being used. Read more here.

    Now I feel really old. In 1983 I had my first "Internet" connection via cable modem running at 9600 bps (9.6k) from Florida to Dow Jones in Princeton, NJ. I got news, weather, airline schedules and stock market info for $10 per month. I had a Unix system V rel.1 home computer (AT&T 3B2 machine).
