6 years to 5,000!
Check out this case...new Alienware case!
http://www.3dnewz.com/forumz/showthr...&postid=154487
I guess they are trying to get rid of the standard Chieftech/Antec cases that everyone now uses.
I like this design, hopefully someone gets a hold of one, and mods it to make it even cool...a window would be nice.

I have that issue and its pretty cool looking. The cost of the rig that was reviewed was way to much. Hopefully they will offer the cases in a affordable configuration.

I had already seen that on some other board, i think gideontech... and personally i think its the ugliest case around.

Sorry to burst you bubble (bubbles?), but all that is a a custom case "shroud". Look closely. The back is chieftec, the drive bays and the power button/LED's are chieftec. All they did was put a plastic overhag with the cable tidy-up-thingie (for the lack of a better expression) on the back, took off the door of the normal faceplate, and put a new faceplate on while routing the USB connectors to the lower left of the case. It looks cool, but considering that Chieftec SOHO's are fairly big by themselves, this shroud should make them...dare i say it....FAT!
High End Lian Li Case = $180 on Mastercard
High End Coolermaster Case = $180 on mastercard
Debating which computer case is better = Priceless

Maybe I'm just lazy but having to open a door to get to the drive bays always bothered me. Then again, I'm the guy who bought a remote for his ceiling fan...

'Twas about to say that. Apparently, Alienware can't seem to get out of the rut of using overused Chieftec cases
[EDIT]And no, those cases are NOT big. I can barely stuff my equipment in mine and still have some breathing room left, even after routing all my cables[/EDIT]

Did i say they had room to work with inside? Bug in dimensions they ARE bigger (taller mostly) then your average midtower, btu this "shroud" wille make it about an inch and a half taler and over two inches wider....dang.
