Loading and Running a non Win32 app in WinXP??

My son received an older reference guide on CDRom. It's system requirements are: Pent 90 or higher, Win 95 or 98, 16 mb RAM, 2x Cd-ROM Drive, etc. My computer is an Athlon 2100, 256 RAM, Geforce3, running WinXP. When I attempt to load this program, I get an error message saying 'This is not a valid Win32 application'

Is there a way I can get this to run on my PC??

    thanks

Not for certain, but I belive XP has a compatibility utility that may allow you to "fool" the software into thinking you are running a different version of Windows.
Check the Windows help file for "compatibility utility" topics.
