    Maybe I'm one of the few people who actually turns their PC off when they arent using it. Not only do I find it a waste of electricity, but the sound of the fans running gets on my nerves. I dont find it a big deal to wait 45 seconds to use my PC.

    My systems consume about $50 worth of electricity per month not counting the added A/C load. The systems are also in use 24/7 because they handle my post office, web server, ftp server, . . .
