Captured video from a vcr to my digital camcorder, put it on computer but no sound?
I have a Canon zr45 and I just borrowed a friend's vcr to put some tapes online (performances). Well, I have the cable to connect my camera to my vcr and the video/audio transfered over to my DV tapes just fine. Playback on the camera is just fine (it has audio and everything), but when I transfer the video over to my computer with a firewire connection, the video transfers over but I get no sound. I don't understand what's wrong, I transfer videos to the computer all the time but this time, when doing vcr->camera->computer, the audio won't go through. Oh yeah, I use windows movie maker, Adobe Premiere 6.5 keeps crashing when I try to do 'batch capture' or 'movie capture' so please don't suggest that. Any dv experts out there?
