    Post computer cases

anyone got some links to some nice computer cases? I've been to <link>www.computercases.org</link> but they all look cheap. I remember seeing a computer case that was made out of aluminum, anyone have a link for that?

    whats your favorit computer case?

Enlight makes nice cases, and the Tornado 1000 that Sharky recommends seems nice, though I haven't seen one in person.

The system we ordered up for a friend of mine had an Enlight case. I forget the exact model #, but is was a VERY nice case for the cash. Nearly the entire case was screwless. All the parts just popped in and everything lined up perfect. For $62 it even came with a 300W PS and an intake fan in the front. The only thing I didn't like was that you need to pop off the faceplate just to open it up.

It sounds like you are lookin for a case that looks cool rather than just has great cooling or convenient access. The best you can do for that is to modify your own case. There are some sites that have case mod competitions. You should check those for ideas or possibly even vendors that sell funky cases. I don't have any URL's handy though.

Its kinda expensive to mod if money is the problem!

I forgot well I guess im gonna get a differnet case. I had my eyes on this case

for a while but i dont think its any good for cooling
    no holes in the front
well I could make my own holes with a dremel but i dont have one

Could any give me a good cooling case pretty cool looking for 100Canadian price thats about 60-70 US price. I want cool looking good cooling has holes in the front and fan at the back of course it got one thats 80mm

not looking for a funky case, I'm looking for a solid case that has some class.

I remember seeing an anodized aluminum case that looked like titanium, it was really light and strong, has anyone else seen this case?

The Lian-Li? They're aluminum and REAL expensive, the tradeoff is they conduct heat well.

thats very cool, nice case, but not the one I was thinking of.

maybe I'll go for a Lian-Li, all I need to do now is find one in Canada!

pretty cool case. excellent construction, good cooling (comes with 2 80mm fans w/ room for 4), 300 watt antec PSU. I just bought an sx1030 from onvia for $97/free shipping.

I'll try to find a pic...

oh ya...I spent alot of time on ICQ with a guy who mods tons of cases trying to find one for myself and he said that Lian Li's are cool (albeit expensive) but you can't use an enermax psu with them. The extra fan on the enermax won't fit the case. Check this case he made to see for yourself if he knows what he is doing Diceman's site

Here's a picture of the Lian Li. Looks sweet

    Here's a review: http://www.dansdata.com/pc60.htm

Here is Lian Li's main case webpage: http://www.lian-li.com/english/f.htm

I ended up going with the Tornado 1000 300 W case....Paid hefty for it, and it should be here tomorrow.
