Accessing another HD with another copy of Windows on it.

Hey guys, here's another question. (I've been full of them as of late). But here goes...I have 3 HDs installed, and I'm using my new 120GB as my primary, and the 160GB and 80GB are set as slave and cable select, respectively. The thing is, I had windows installed on that 80, and I'd like to copy over all the stuff under My Documents over to the 120, before I format it.

Problem is, that I can't seem to access the files, it says access denied, but I can access all other stuff on the drive. I know it's Windows protecting the files cuz I'm not logged on as the user, but is there any way I can get to those files other than by redoing the jumpers, and setting the 80GB to master, booting off it, copying the files to another folder, and then put it back to the orginal config and copy from there? That's just one big pain....

you'll need to change the owner of the folder, if you are using XP you'll need to disable simple file sharing if it is not already:

My Computer -> Tools -> Folder Options -> View tab -> Scroll to the bottom of the list of advanced settings and un-check Use Simple File Sharing (Recommended) -> Click OK.

to change the owner go to the folder and right click on it and select Properties -> Security tab -> Advanced button -> Owner tab -> Select a new owner from the list and put a check in Replace owner on subcontainers and objects -> Ok -> Ok
If your sig is longer than your post then type more.
