    Another DVD burner thread

I know theres probably 10 threads about dvd burners right now, but I wanted to know about the software.

I was thinking of buying that dual format NEC-1300 of newegg, but it only comes with Easy CD Creator 5 Basic. I can buy the TDK AID440, which I think is the retail version of the same drive, adn will come with Easy CD 6 Deluxe, but Im wondering if ild be better of with Nero, because thats what i've always used to burn CDs. I could also get TDK AID420, which comes w/ Nero Express (but not the full version) and is only plus compatible.

What software is going to be the best? I will also consider suggestions for other drives that come with better software, my only stipulation is that the drive must be black.

I just saw they lowered the price on the NEC-1300, so im thinking of buying it OEM, and then getting Nero 6 seperatly. Also, does anyone know if the version of Nero express that came with my Lite-On CD-RW will work with the DVD RW.

    Thanks!

    Cool

Nero has worked without major flaws as a DVD burnware. I've seen numerous threads with EZCD Creamator problems but my guess is most are user errors with EZCD 6.
You should be fine with Nero, and that TDK Indi440 happens to be an OEM NEC ND-1300A.

Take a look at this page for more information, it's constantly being updated........
