Baten Kaitos - Namco/Monolith's GC rpg

And it looks HOT HOT HOT! They're not direct feed though, only a cam capture from the press conference but its the only thing we'll get, IGN estimates that namco wont release direct feed movies until a month from now. Its STILL worth watching, its not a shaking cam or anything.

    Baten kaitos opening

    Baten kaitos world & story

    Baten Kaitos battle

Release before december of this year in japan, the voices are also in english so it might be import friendly (?).

The art in this game is in a league of its own imo, it reminds me of Crono Cross + Laputa castle in the sky (one of the best anime ever from studio Ghibli)

Just look at the developers behind this game, its quite a team to say the least.

Producer: Tadashi Nomura - previous work on Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy
Director: Hiroya Hatsushiba - previous work on Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile
Director: Yasuyuki Honne - previous work on Chrono Cross and Xenosaga
Movie Producer: Mikitaka Kurasawa - previous work on Onimusha and Resident Evil
Scenario: Masato Kato - previous work on Final Fantasy and Chrono Cross
Music: Motoi Sakuraba - previous work on Star Ocean 3

Very impressive. I can see definate Skies or Arcadia and Grandia influenses. The battles also look interesting, i figure they are card based?
High End Lian Li Case = $180 on Mastercard
High End Coolermaster Case = $180 on mastercard
Debating which computer case is better = Priceless

Turned based card system yes. Not that much different than a turned based system based on attack/magic/summon, only difference is you have to strategically place your deck to counter what your enemy will do, should be fun

Making your deck should be very fun. As a veteran Magic The Gathering player i would love that. However i am not quite sure how that will intergrate with having multiple characters in your party.
