    New System... Antec Minuet

    heres all the parts

the shuttle mn31n nforce2 microATX motherboard... has the MCP-T southbridge! next to it is my old 1700 dltuc (going in this system) and a new 1700 dlt3c (this ones going in my overclocking rig).

its a tight fit but i managed... 1 LG dvd/cdrw combo drive, 1 floppy, 1 maxtor hdd, and you can also see the super small antec 220watt.

the antec minuet sure is pretty... i highly reccomend for a small general use pc. im gonna use onboard everything for this (includeing the IGP video, which is dual vga-out btw!)

its the antec minuet (its from antecs new line including the sonata).. got it at newegg for $60-70 (dont remember exactly).. it looks great and the 220w antec psu is good enough for a small system, only problem i see is that it only supports half-height PCI and AGP cards (this doesnt make a diff to me since im using all onboard stuff)

Wait, found it on Newegg. Does that box only support low profile PCI/AGP cards? I saw review on the site and they said it only takes low profile cards.

Well that blows. That becomes very limiting on what cards you can put in there.

the only case fan is an 80mm attached to the PSU.... the cpu is a 1.5vcore dlt3c running stock.... even with the retail heatsink and a crappy 12cfm fan im still getting 40c idle.... the northbridge makes ALOT of heat though.. (this might be because im using the IGP video).. it feels pretty stuffy in the case cause of the northbridge... theres a place you can add on a 40mm case fan.. i might need to use it

Nice case but it looks a tad small for me... I always needed the extra PCI slots for all the addon cards I have

Now if you can build about 20 of them for a SETI server farm
