Help with video cam setup

I bought a B/W outdoor camera for my front porch and want to set it up through my pc. I have a Dazzle USB video break out box and the camera ran right into the inputs. I installed dazzles software and on the first video test my camera shows up working fine. Now that the tests are complete I dont know where to go from here, I downloaded a few programs used to recording and none recognize the camera hooked up. Is there a way to use the input signal from the dazzle box in a recording program?

Any suggestions on which to use, I need something to record only if I demand it or if it senses movement?
