Outlook XP and IMAP acct

Whenever I check my e-mail, I get an error message "UID doesnt comply with IMAP standard" or something like that. I have one IMAP, and one pop3 mail account.

This Micorsoft KB article describes my problem exactly:

All it really says is they dont know what causes it, and to remove and then add the account again. After doing that I still have the same problem.

Anyone have any ideas?

Its reallly annoying cause I have outlook set to check my email every minute, so when I come home I have millions of error messages.

Wouldn't it be a lot less annoying if you closed Outlook before you left home?

Might try deleting the account. Reboot. Add the account back.

well ya, but im really lazy and i like to have my email running 24/7.
