Extending cables = Degradation?
Hey guys, would making my mouse longer and xidepad longer (using usb extensions) make the mouse any less accurate or the leds on the pad any less bright? i don't imagine it would, but i just want to make sure.

There is actually a limit to the length of a usb cable without a repeater station. I think its about 10meters but probably better to check first before you buy. If you want to extend your mouse, why not just get a cordless one, they're only $30 now.
Now for some shameless self promotion:

same. so did we agree that the signal won't degrade? i'm thinking of adding 6 or 10ft extension cables.
