Thumbs up Abit IC7G MAX3 Rated Takes Top Honors @ Hard OCP

Read all about this kickarse board here:

    http://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=NTA5LDE=

They got it to boot into Windows at 290 Mhz FSB...this is with stock Northbridge cooling...

I predict more highly favorable reviews - perhaps THE board to own for 2003...

Blah... That is an ugly piece of crap!!!! I'll stick with the standard SLK-900U/947U

I never liked heatpipes... More of a gimmick IMO then pratical...

    ROFL...

IF you like it then get it

I dont have experience with that heatsink.. But when I bais my feelings on the SLK-900... The base of it doesnt even get warm.. So if that doesnt get warm.. How is it going to heat the pipes and transfer the temp to the outside of the fins...

Thats for the Thermalright engineers to know But seriously, is anyone even carrying those? Not to mention it looks like it can fit maybe 2 mobos, and what if you accidently get something caught on those rings and rip the cpu out the socket? Kinda gimmicky lookin...Guess I'll wait for some reviews...

    Not really

I can tell you that the newer heatpipe SLK-900 will not fit the KNXP.. Since the memory sits in the inside of the V shape.. With the heatpipes there. The memory cannot sit in the first slot...

But they can design something and doesnt have to perform any better then the original and still package it

hmm I wonder if the vantec Tornado 92x92x38 will fit that?

I still think the slk900 is better but if it don't fit it don't fit.
