    free ftp site for pictures?

    I wanted to post some pics of my pc. What sites do you guys use to upload your pics to so you can post them here?

    I've found http://www.tripod.co.uk to work the best. They give plenty of room, a high transfer limit, and allow remote linking.

    Usually your ISP can dish out a good amount of space and bandwith for you. I think AOL does if you use AIM (I use the real thing - just for my parents! - and they have a few dozen megs and limitless bandwith).

    My parents use AOL and their FTP only allows about 6mb-10mb of storage, more if you pay. Plus you have to use their FTP program inside AOL to upload stuff and it really sucks.

    well you can use yahoo to put images on and send the link and it will link to the book wiht them in there it works good.

    If you go to college they generally provided a decent ammout of space.

    i have a pic hosting site...but to keep me from going under in bandwidth i limited the storage to 1mb. i will keep the services running as long as it doesnt exceed my bandwidth limit.

    so far its pretty much not been used....we'll see how it works out.

    edit: by the way- as far as remote linking for it...you will have to right click the photo and copy and paste the link from there.
