I loved Jedi Outcast, but the online play was impossible due to lag. It was kind of hard to force-choke someone when they have a lousy connection. I hope they have addressed some of this on the new one.

    Vader's Castle - vjun3 -

I need help in a section of Vjun'. I have gotten through most of it, but I come to this room when I walk in 4 pillars go to the bottom of the floor, and when I goto the control panel and press it, one pillar goes to the top and 4 round droids come out, easy enuff. After they are killed, 2 sheilded droids w/ guns, easy also. But the final one with 2 fast shielded droids with light sabers come out, I can't kill them.. I've used all kinds of guns, det packs, thermal dets, trips, my saber, force lightning and nothing.. and aside from using cheats, i would like to get past this part..

Is this game worth the $$ or should I just play the demo over and over, or just wait for KOTOR?

Geek, you need to shoot them when their shields go down for a second or two. Takes some timing, but it's not hard.

This game is a lot of fun, and for some reason I flew through it, I got stuck a few times but not for very long. To get past the sandcrawler mission you need to use your force pull to bring down the crane lift (I think this is what your talking about) hope that helped if you havent gotten through this part yet.

this game is a blast! so far i've only used dual sabers...but it is a lot of fun. i will have to try out the staff later on. right now i'm just having a bit of trouble with killing tavion at the very end. here is a question for you guys...whenever i try playing a multiplayer game (even the "solo game" option) i can play for a little bit, but then it keeps crashing back to the main menu with the error message: CL_ParsePacketEntities. what could be causing this? i just can't figure it out.

Yeah, the multiplayer is jacked. I could only play on one server without my system locking up. That server was pretty crappy too.
