Mr Zurkon is here to kill
yeah to tell you the truth...I have no clue if my system is under performing or not...I haven't ran a benchmark in a long time...all that I know is that my games are smooth and look nice and that's good enough for me...although I'm interested to see how the 3.7's do so I guess I'll be a benchmark whore tonight...

This might actually prove to be true on several conditions:
1) Both cards are running at AA x0
2) Both cards are running at AF x0
3) Both cards are running at 640x480 resolution
4) Both cards are running at 4bpp
The score would probably be 1,000,000 to 1,010,000

Here's some results.
http://www6.tomshardware.com/graphic...n_9600-07.html
Anyone who still think the fx5600 is as good as the ti4600 should wake up to them selfs.
The one in the test is a "ultra", & it loose out to the it4200 in many of the tests, a non-ultra would loose out to the ti4200 by miles.
Thunderbird1GHz, stop being lazy, dig some sh*t up, & prove them wrong. You'll have fun at the end.
But then they always have excuses.
I still like my pork chop with a bit of mustard, & tomato sauce.

No, *MY* new girlfriend!~
...
my friend bought the new BFG 5600 Ultra 400/400 from my store, and its pretty fast.
The 256mb version has a 325mhz core, is known slow, and was discontinued in favor of the flip chip design.

Hmm, you didn´t even read my second post right after jakup mentioned the 5600=4600 thingy, right?, because if you would have read it you would have seen that right there the *mistake* from jakup was already *fixed*...
Also, those scores are from an *older* ultra, the new ones like OpStar said are 400/400.
Soo... stop being lazy and do your work right if you want to prove someone wrong, don´t do halfway, go all the way
Ohh, and they are not excuses, they are usually FACTS, unlike other things
Peace.
(Edit)Just look up at reviews from google of the 5600, it doesn´t lose by miles, but it doesn´t wins either (/Edit)

I did read your post, I'm saying that not even the 5600 ultra can match the performance of the ti4600.
"(Edit)Just look up at reviews from google of the 5600, it doesn´t lose by miles, but it doesn´t wins either (/Edit)"
Your statement is meaningless, I did a msn search & it say the ti4600 run rings around the "new" 5600 ultra.
Statements like these are dismiss straight out of hand. You need to post some link to your finding, one where they did a side by side test with the same setup.
As for the non-ultra version, there is no speed increase so my earlier post still stands.
