    radeon pci vs geforce pci

    My freinds trying to get his computer to run bf1942 and Which card would be better. He already got the 7500 but he say the 440 after he bought it for about the same price

    system is a
    hp pavilion xt858
    p3 1ghz
    384 pc 100 sdram


    He only has pci.

    it runs barely decent on my 2ghz xp and radeon 9800 pro

    I have a bit of a time running bf1942 also. I have my card overclocked to all hell its ok until i get in the rough spots.

    His system is almost identical to my old system.

    gf2 ti
    amd 950
    300+mb sdram

    and it did run bf in 800x600. Dc was miserable tho. Hes going to return the 7500 tommrow and get a mx440 that may make things a little better.

    That's not a fair comparison though, you're running like 1280x1024 and 6X AA...
