    Icewind Dale tweakin out

    I picked up Icewind Dale today and the install went fine. Started up and got to creating my characters. When I attempt to enter a character name or biography, it flips out and starts printing dots in the text field one after another until it's completely full. I can't type anything in the text field, just move back and forth with the arrow keys...

    I installed the latest patch to no avail. Anyone seen this before? I know it's an old game but I was psyched to get it and now I can't even build a party

    Its AA or AF doing that, I had that problem as well a looooooong time ago.

    Check your graphic card settings

    my advice with IWD is to build a strong 4 person party, that way you can level up quicker b/c experience is split between everyone. Plus IWD is more of a quick combat type game, and it is easier to keep up with 4 dudes, vs. 6
