    Nexus fan controller

Do you have to have variable speed fans to use a fan controller? Just wondering cause i hooked up my rear ones to the the controller and they didn't variate in speed at all. NP if I need variable fans planning on scrapping those anyway they are stock from the case.

No man, thats the whole point behind the fan controllers. You can use any fan you want, hell I have 6 blue LED fans hooked up to mine, check the link in my sig (if it works).

Just make sure they have rpm controlling capabilities

Ahh got it. Somehow in my mess of wires the fan was getting power from a source other than the controller, as well as the controller, which I guess caused it not to do anything when rotating the knobs~ All fixed now. Just need some new fans next!
