I need to find this info desperately but don't know where:

I need to know whether the large US software companies like Microsoft, Oracle, Lotus etc have significant production operations in China and Taiwan? Or alternatively, whether they only outsource smaller work to their subsidiaries in those countries and the majority of software development is undertaken in the US?

Anyone on this board who is in the industry can you please tell me where I can find detailed info about this, like no of software R&D facilities, production and development plants those big companies have in China and Taiwan?
