Like I'd mentioned, I had issues (couldn't get over 180 with mine no matter what, SC or DC....) that were resolved (215 DC) with the '024' rev as compared to my original '012' rev.

Weren't those errors non-existant if you were using 2 512mb sticks instead of 2 256mb sticks?

Don't know.....all I know is that there's a plethora (???) of evidence for HyperX issues, mostly with 8RDA+. Mine were with 2x256, and Kingston was really good about the RMA I'd gotten.....

Yes, the Frys is local to me.

I could buy it, but I'd rather not argue with my parents over it. I would be spending my money...so the would let me buy it, but again...I'd rather not fight them after I told them I would not be buying anything after the CPU and sound card.

I'd almost prefer it be Value RAM, considering what my PC2100 and Macci's PC2700 is doing now!

The timings don't matter much on this board I don't think, a higher FSB will yield more performance.
