cooling noob looking for 3 case fans

    my case specifications:
    Fan space (3.5") front (2), rear (1)

ill pay up to $50 but do NOT want to go that high if a cheaper option will do

-it will be for a 2800+/radeon 9800 system with a possibility of very moderate OC'ing in the future

    any suggestions are welcome

Grab some panaflo fans from frozencpu... 31 cfm / 28db. They have a special for em, $2.50 each atm.

Yeah, their selection is huge. FrozenCPU is decent too, but overpriced IMO

Aye, comparing the two I can't see how frozencpu stays in business with their prices compared to svc. Only mentioned them because of their cheap special on those panaflos, cheaper than even svc offers em.

I agree DAoC, that is a really good deal on those Panaflo's, but other than that FrozenCPU is just overpriced

so 31 cfm fans are good enough for moderate OC'ing?

also what to do if your mobo has only one case fan outlet?

    thanks

Case fans arn't going to play a huge roll on how well you can o/c your processor. It helps, better airflow cools the heatsink faster, but 31cfm is fine. About the motherboard connection, I don't even use that. The fans should come with 3 to 4 pin adapters (unless they come 4 pin~) and you just hook them up into your psu, or fan controller if you have one of those.

edit: and wow~ just figured i'd do a search for the bezels on svc and they had em for 6.40 each, immediatly called frozencpu to cancel my order with them (13 bucks each there). Bought some 32cfm/28db fans too for 1.49 each. Guess I don't need to shop at frozencpu anymore ><

I usually buy my fans at www.nexfan.com. They have some awesome deals. I picked up some 32cfm clear case fans just recently for a couple bucks apiece.
