i have to agree that the ultras are awesome, the kick of the sub is fantastic. unfotunately i am getting some static out of the speakers when no music is being played, i think its interferance because of the shitty wire they use. thank god my monster cables came yesterday.

oh yea, pinchy, i picked up 2 sets of the wallmart stands, the base design is slightly different, but other than that and the grey color, they are the EXACT same stands as the klipsch ones, for 1/3 of the price....

You're lucky you found those stands for so cheap, up here in canada walmart doesn't carry them, and the promedia stands are 135 canadian before shipping or taxes.

I just ordered the wallbrackets for the promedia instead

"Versatile Wall Bracket 1 is made from the same quality steel as the ProMedia 2.1 pedestals and is for ProMedia 2.1, 4.1 and 5.1 satellites. This clean, simple design affords the most extreme angle adjustment, with up to 160 degrees of movement for precise speaker positioning in the horizontal plane. Wall stud wood screws included. Attaches via dual keyhole slots for a tight fit to the wall. "

It cost me $30 canadian plus shipping

which is not as bad as 135, i'll let u guys know how well they work when i get em.

can you post a pic of the ultras mounted on them? they tilt a bit downards, i'm not sure of that's normal. but for 30 bucks, that's a steal.

dont have my digital camera with me(just moved to a new apt) all i can say is that they maybe tilt down 1-2 degrees, but its not noticable at all. and the klipsch promedia stands do the exact same thing, i have 1 set of the klipsch stands from a few years ago with my pm v.2-400s. for 30 bucks, your not gonna find anything better, and if the tilt bothers you, you could jam a peice of plastic or paper in the mount, and that would fix the problem all together.

i did get my monster cable kit, and will be hooking them up this weekend, i will let you know how they sound.

all i needed to hear. i removed the plastic foam washer, and now it sits up with less of an angle downwards.

you could even slightly bend the mount peice, and that would also fix the problem, in fact i may do that myself.

true, it's not that big of a deal though. as long as they're not falling off, and pointing towards teh floor, it's golden.
